Job Purpose:

Create a positive learning environment where the children learn sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork, and responsibility.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To create and implement a high-quality coaching program, to maximize participation and performance of competitive teams;

• To undertake the necessary planning for each activity session to ensure the program demonstrates progression throughout;
• To ensure all equipment associated with the coaching program is correctly set up, maintained, stored and returned on completion of games and practices;

• To implement appropriate Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with the Menifee County School District policy and procedures;
• To provide appropriate mentoring, support and guidance to other coaches, players and student volunteers;

• To take responsibility for their own continuous professional development and attend relevant training courses to improve their coaching delivery.

 

Position is responsible for organizing the Esports program at the assigned school.Position assists with conducting practices, motivation students, and instructing students athletes in game strategies and techniques. All Coaches are required to complete all KHSAA training and follow all rules associated with the sport including Title IX responsibilities. All Coaches are held responsible to all ethical and legal standards set forth by the Menifee County Board of Education.
